Dates and firms as the public docket states them; we are not first.
Districts and windows read so far: 11 of 190. A district nobody has bought yet reads UNREAD on its page, which is a different fact from zero.
One query, the same in every district, with the district as its only parameter: (employ OR employment OR retain OR retention OR appoint OR appointment) AND (auctioneer OR auctioneers OR liquidator OR liquidators OR "liquidating agent" OR "sale agent" OR "selling agent" OR "asset disposition"). It is printed here so you can run it yourself and disagree with what it returns.
However many times a case is filed on, it is one row. The earliest qualifying entry is the hire; later entries only upgrade an application to an order, or fill in a firm the earlier text did not name. A district's count is a count of cases, never of documents.
Including the clerk's spelling, the trailing comma and the LLC. We do not tidy a name into the one a firm uses on its own letterhead, because the moment we do, the row stops being quotable against the filing it came from.
CONFIRMED means the entry's own text was read and admitted by the classifier. UNCONFIRMED is the number of dockets that MENTION a hire — an upper bound, and usually a much larger one. In one district we measured 40 mentions against 0 admitted. We never add the two together and we never print the bound where the count belongs.
A district page reads 56 days. A subscriber's map reads 90. The counts file carries 30 and 365. Each window is labelled wherever its number is printed, because a number whose window is implied is a number a reader will attach to the wrong span.
The free court feeds are caught twice a day, about eleven hours apart. The archive we read for filed text caps us at 125 requests a day, rolling — not a calendar day — and one district costs one request per window. Ninety-five districts over two windows is 190 requests, so the table fills over several days and cannot be filled in a sitting. A district nobody has bought yet reads UNREAD, which is a different fact from zero.
When a row changes after we published it, the change is logged with the case number and the days late, and the running tally is stated as k of m over the trailing twelve months. A correction nobody can count is a correction that costs us nothing to make.
We name no trustee and no worker. A person's case is never a page: where the debtor is an individual the row says "individual" and stops. Firms enter this record from public filings and from their own websites, and from nowhere else — not from a directory, a map, a list, a review site or a social profile.
Facts are from the cited filing or the firm's own page; everything else is a reading you may check.
